You know the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”, well it’s true. People love pictures, just look at the popularity of Instagram, and the number of photos people take. I love taking them myself, in fact you can visit my personal Instagram account and see that I have thousands of pictures posted.
I take many of the pictures you see on client web sites, in their flyers, brochures and postcards. I’ve used photos to create on-line videos for restaurants and other businesses and organizations. Good photos are essential and I always suggest that businesses that do service work like contractors, landscapers, painters, auto body mechanics and others take good before and after pictures. Nothing tells a better story then seeing something in really bad shape transformed into something new. That is the basis for many of today’s most popular television shows, showing houses, yards, cars and antiques renovated back to like new condition.
Potential customers want to see who they will be doing business with, what your location looks like, how appealing your food looks, what the product looks like and how it can be used, and how you can make them look and feel better by using your services. Photos can be that “wow factor” that words cannot convey in the same way. Combined with winning content and customer testimonials photos can really change something dull into something more exciting.
